We built this site
to promote our wonderful organization and further the education and
communication of our fellow Long Island Dressage and Combined
Training enthusiasts. We also want to encourage you to use it as a
place for discussion and learning as well as shopping online. We
believe that you never stop learning and everyone you meet, people
and horses, can teach you something, if you take the time to find
it. We want to encourage communication between riders,
trainers, barn owners and managers, horse service providers like
farriers and vets because we believe the horses will benefit in the
end.
As this site is
new, we plan to add to it as often as we can. There will be links to
other dressage and combined training websites, publications,
articles, suppliers, and just plain fun and interesting sites. Some
you will know, others we hope you will go to and check out. It is a
work in process so please feel free to email me with comments and
suggestions at

In order to
keep LIDCTA successful, we need the help of all our members. "Ask
